Features made for businesses, clubs, or companies can be set up and tried out in the Private version, but you can only really activate them for your users with Business.

Rule of thumb: When do I need Business?
You need Business as soon as your app is for more than just yourself, your family, or a small circle of friends. Specifically:
- You earn money with the app – even when the money comes after the app (e.g. your coaching program is promoted via the app, but payment happens by bank transfer)
- A group uses the app – club, school, public body, non-profit, even when nobody pays anything
- Your company uses the app internally – e.g. so employees can share info or check shifts
- The app is part of your work or your business – e.g. an app advertising your restaurant or showcasing your yoga studio
Private really means private: an app for birthdays in your family, a friend-circle chat, your own hobby without doing any marketing or member management.

What does it cost to change your app?
Two kinds of changes: everyday changes (always free) and technical updates (paid when you need them often).
Everyday changes – always free
You see these changes in your app right away – nothing new has to go through Apple or Google:
- Colors, spacing, rounded corners
- Labels in menus and headings
- How individual pages are structured – what goes where
- Turn features on or off (e.g. enable chat, disable gallery)
- Add content: articles, events, products, posts
- Send push messages to your users
- Mandatory updates required by Apple or Google
About images: the logo inside your app, backgrounds and new photos – swap them anytime live. Only the app icon on the home screen and the welcome screen usually need a technical update – because Apple and Google build them right into your app.
Technical updates – paid
Sometimes you need a brand-new version of your app – when we release new features, when Apple or Google change something, or when a bug needs fixing. Then we rebuild your app and submit it to Apple and Google again.
Private
1 free update per quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4). Unused quarters expire at the end of each quarter and do not roll over. Additional updates cost €19 each.
Business (without maintenance)
No limit, you can request updates anytime. Each one costs €19.
With maintenance (€49–99/year)
All technical updates are free – as many as you need. Plus we answer your emails within 24 hours instead of 72.
